Happy Independence Day – Troop 881’s Scouts, Springfield, VA

Dear We The Kids,

“I am genuinely grateful for your resource to help guide the Scouts through analyzing and comprehending our historical document, The Constitution of the United States. The Scouts first learned from Chapter 4 as an introduction to immigration and why people from all over the world sacrificed so much to get here in the first place. Each Scout member’s family immigrated to the U.S. for various reasons as did mine. It is vital for Americans of all ages to learn about their ancestors and their sacrifices before developing an understanding of what it means to be resilient, courageous, and most importantly, an American.
I am looking forward to teaching the Scouts to be the next generation of American patriots. If we want to change the world, we must start with the youth. Thank you, Lydia.â€
Best,

Lilit Vanetsyan
