Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence, a historic document, on July 2nd, 1776, after the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence. My bigger-than-life brother, Aaron Carson Vaughn, was KIA. Those letters seemed insufficient to describe the fullness of their meaning. Nevertheless, it was true.
