I believe America is an exceptional Nation by Joshua Anderson

I believe that our nation is an exceptional nation, a nation created with ideas of freedom and that all men are created equal.

I believe that our nation is an exceptional nation, a nation created with ideas of freedom and that all men are created equal. That to secure these rights the founders of our nation created a government, like non other, a government where the people rule themselves. The people choose from themselves leaders, who make laws to ensure that freedom is preserved for themselves and future generations. Our American experiment has been tested in its 237 year history. Our country has been tried by foreign dictators, civil war, and terrorists. We have learned that freedom is not free, that it is tested time and time again. Whenever our country has been tested a group of brave men and women have always stepped forward at freedoms call. A group of patriots from all walks life, rich or poor, old and young, all different races, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. A group united in our country’s Armed Forces: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Air Force. These brave Americans stepped forward to defend our freedom, liberty, and way of life. They stepped forward despite the great danger they faced, willing to lay down their lives so that this nation, and freedom, might live. It is because their bravery and courage that our nation has succeeded thus far, and the reason we can all sleep at night knowing that our “domestic tranquility” is secure. It is because of our veterans sacrifice that our country with high hopes moves into the future, confident that our brave warriors will answer their country’s call to “Support and Defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…,” and carry on the traditions of freedom and democracy, at home and abroad.
