1. I love thy kingdom, Lord,
the house of thine abode,
the church our blest Redeemer saved
with his own precious blood.
2. I love thy church, O God!
Her walls before thee stand
dear as the apple of thine eye,
and graven on thy hand.
3. For her my tears shall fall,
for her my prayers ascend,
to her my cares and toils be given,
till toils and cares shall end.
4. Beyond my highest joy
I prize her heavenly ways,
her sweet communion, solemn vows,
her hymns of love and praise.
5. Sure as thy truth shall last,
to Zion shall be given
the brightest glories earth can yield,
and brighter bliss of heaven.

Timothy Dwight, (born May 14, 1752, Northampton, Massachusetts—died January 11, 1817, New Haven, CT, U.S.), American educator, theologian, and poet who had a strong instructive influence during his time.Educated by his mother, a daughter of the preacher Jonathan Edwards, Dwight entered Yale at age 13 and was graduated in 1769. He then pursued a variety of occupations, including those of a tutor at Yale, a school principal, a Massachusetts legislator, and a chaplain with the Continental Army. In 1783 he began a successful school in Greenfield Hill, Connecticut. There he became pastor of the Congregational Church. In Connecticut, Dwight began to write poetry, such as Greenfield Hill (1794)—a popular history of and tribute to the village—and epics, including The Conquest of Canaan (1785)—a Biblical allegory of the taking of Connecticut from the British, which some critics regard as the first American epic poem. The poems are grandiose but morally inspiring. Dwight’s political satire marks him as one of the Hartford wits. Dwight served as president of Yale from 1795 to 1817; his administration had pervasive effects on the school, including the modernization of the curriculum. He fought religious apathy as an eloquent professor of theology; his sermons appear in Theology; Explained and Defended, 5 vol. (1818–19).
A truly American story woven with facts and acknowledgement of our early American citizens’ and Founding Fathers’ belief in and reverence for our one and only God. I’m so thankful to know that our real and true history is still being written and taught. Don’t let your kids miss out!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story of Dwight’s life, his love and commitment to the building of our Lord’s Kingdom in the midst of the pressures of his day. We are to go and do likewise. Susan, your prayers for revival will be answered and we will see the Glory of the Lord poured out in this season. The enduring faith seen in Jonathan Edwards, his grandson Timothy, other men and women throughout His-story, is the cornerstone of this next Great Awakening! . “The United States’ twentieth century goal of equal education opportunity for all morphed into the goal of equal results. Facing Reality in American Education, suggests that equal results have been sought through dumbing down the curriculum and grade inflation, which begs the question, can a nation stay competitive while not developing the full potential of its most capable people?” –Virfinia Deane Abernethy, Professor Emeritus, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
“Robert Walters shows that the education establishment and its defenders in politics and the media have advocated dozens of remedies for the black-white gap in racial achievement over the last 50 years. Rather than attempting the impossible dream of all children being prepared to benefit from a college education, the author quite reasonably proposes that children who are not able to succeed in a rigorous academic program should be provided opportunities to train for other positions that are needed in today’s economy – plumbers, electricians, machinery operators, and computer technicians. Quite simply, academic learning is not for everyone, and nor should it be. This is a vey readable, well-researched book that provides a much needed corrective to the liberal/left zeitgeist that unfortunately dominates the intellectual and moral high ground throughout the West.” — K.B. MacDonald, Retired Professor, California State University, Long Beach

Former history teacher at Highland High School in Salt Lake City. Former Coach college football at the University of Utah, Arizona, and then defensive coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania. Stan Ellsworth – AMERICAN RIDE
Stan Ellsworth, ” I used to teach history at Highland High School in Salt Lake City. Kids couldn’t put World War I, Vietnam and Korea in chronological order. That’s horrible. The kids couldn’t explain to me about Jacksonian democracy. I’m talking to juniors and seniors. These kids should’ve had a little understanding of this. They couldn’t give me the geography of the U.S. outside the mountain states. Utah is not unique in this problem — I imagine that most teachers in most states have seen a similar disconnect from our past. We’re raising a nation that may be ignorant of its past, and I want to amend that.”
He is a nationally known speaker, best-selling author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc., a publishing company dedicated to researching America’s noble heritage. Restore The Intent – Our Mission is to establish grassroots Constitution Study Groups in every American county in an effort to restore the original intent of our American system of government. https://restoretheintent.com
Daniel Webster said the following: “I apprehend no danger to our country from a foreign foe. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence, I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men and become the instruments of their own undoing. Make them intelligent, and they will be vigilant; give them the means of detecting the wrong, and they will apply the remedy.”
The hope is that through these study groups we regain the ability to detect the wrong and will be motivated enough to apply the remedy.

Robert J. Walters (California)
President and CEO of Freight Management Inc., Anaheim, CA
Robert J. Walters founded American Traffic Services in 1969 and it was one of the first freight consulting and management companies. Robert’s father owned and ran a trucking company so he grew up in the industry; however, running a trucking company wasn’t a big enough challenge for him. It was his feeling that something was missing; that there were bigger pieces to this puzzle and someone had to bring them all together. Having graduated from UCLA, and with his first-hand industry experience, he set out to create a company that would assist shippers in choosing the right carriers for both their freight and their lanes. But he didn’t want to leave the truckers out of that equation, so he set out to develop relationships with carriers in order to create a type of harmonious marriage between the shipper and carrier. This service included full-service management of freight and provided dedicated staff to help in the day-to-day operations for both the shipper and the carrier.
