We The Kids (wtk) is a non-profit organization that promotes patriotism, American history, and a deeper understanding of America’s founding documents to children. Our goal is to engage children in projects that give them a better appreciation for the principles upon which America was founded.

WTK reaches out to all age groups, from the very young to high school and college students.

WTK is excited to tell you about our partnership with the popular and patriotic rock band, Madison Rising, and offer your students a unique and memorable history experience.

With songs ranging from the guitar heavy opening track “The Star Spangled Banner” to the hauntingly epic sounds of “Honk If You Want Peace,” to the beautiful violins of “Hallowed Ground,” it is clear that this band is on a mission to not only make great music, but also send a message that American culture is alive and well.

Madison Rising’s version of the Star Spangled Banner has received over 5 million views on their web site, StarSpangledBannerChallenge.com.

WTK has made arrangements to bring Madison Rising into schools and would like to invite your school to participate in this exciting project. Madison Rising is willing to visit your classroom via Skype, offering students a unique opportunity to learn the history of the Star Spangled Banner. A member of the band will talk to students about the national anthem’s history as well as answer questions.

WTK was started so that kids can be encouraged to love America and to give voice to patriotism. Our partnership with Madison Rising certainly helps us reach that goal.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience to schedule a date so that your students can participate in this unforgettable and meaningful experience. Email judy@wethekids.us or call 574-315-1547.

For freedom!
